Our Rooms
The church of Haringe has piano concerts in the spring and organ concerts in the summer. You can always contact the Haringe priest for a tour of the church. The Dode IJzer walking route, a lovely walk of approximately 7 km through the IJzervlakte, passes through our garden.
Our B&B is located along the GR-path 5A 'Walking Routes in Flanders' (the southern part) and along the South Cycling Network of Westhoek. There are several other cycling routes in the district for discovering the region of Westhoek. You can also learn about the border area around the village of Haringe by hiring a personal guide. He will explain all about nature of the IJzer valley in a historical context and tell you all sorts of vivid anecdotes about the lives of the local smugglers in earlier days.

How to get to Haringe
From Ghent follow the E40 in the direction of Brugge, Oostende, Veurne and Calais. Take the exit to Veurne and turn left in the direction of Ieper (N8). After around 8 km, turn right in the direction of Gyverinckhove or Beveren. Follow this road and pass through the centres of the following villages: Gyverinckhove, Beveren and Roesbrugge. In Roesbrugge take a right turn in the direction of Haringe. We are located on this road at the bend just before the church of Haringe on the right hand side.
ALTERNATIVE DIRECTIONS IN CASE OF TRAFFIC ON THE E40 IN THE DIRECTION OF THE COAST
In Ghent take the E17 direction Kortrijk. In Kortrijk continue to follow signs for Ieper. In Ieper, at the end of the motorway, take a left turn and follow this road until you come to a T-crossing in Poperinge. Take a left turn and follow this road until you come to another T-crossing. There turn left in the direction of Proven. After 8 km you pass the village centre of Proven and after a number of kilometres you will see a sign for Haringe pointing to the left. Continue to follow the sign for Haringe. We are located on this road at the bend just before the church of Haringe on the right hand side. If you are coming from Watou, drive through the centre of Haringe and you will find us at the bend just past the church of Haringe on the left hand side.
